Meet Sara Broers. Sara is the CEO of Travel With Sara, Co-Owner of The Midwest Travel Network, CEO of Social Connections, LLC and the Co-Owner of Home Grown Social Media. She enjoys helping others make valuable connections, to help them grow their businesses. She started the North Iowa Social Media Breakfast Club in June of 2013 and it is still going strong. A fun fact: Sara is also an auctioneer, as a recent November 2018 graduate of World Wide College of Auctioneering.

I’m inspired by all of the people that make up our Midwest Travel Network. The people that make up our network are working to help grow destinations, all across the Midwest. It’s extremely inspiring when I see a community come back to life, after it has seen some very dark days. Often times these positive changes have come about because a blogger from our network took the time to explore and showcase their destination online.

I’m also inspired when I see a fellow blogger reach out to another blogger during a time of need. We are all a community, in more ways than one. When we help each other, we all grow. I truly believe that when people of all ages are placed together, magical things happen. I see this over and over when people in our Midwest Travel Network partner up on projects.

Life is too short to wait for things to happen. If you want to be the change, make it happen! Reach out to that one person that inspires you and motivates you to be better at what you do. Thank you to all of you that make up our Midwest Travel Network. Together, we help grow the economic tax base of communities, one community at a time.

From the Gravel Road-

Tonight we have a very special guest!  I did it! I convinced my better half to write a what inspires you Wednesday is the good word from Robbie! 🙂

Ma, Mom, Mother, Mommy, Mum…..where would we be without our mothers?????  Today alone, Ma can you go check on the piles of roof steel in the yard that the 652 mile per hour wind is probably blowing everywhere?? And throw some old pallets on them if they are still in the same county yet?  All good in the hood, thankfully. It woulda bothered me until I was home.

When I got home, just a quick run to Chucktown……..halfway there psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst, I either said son of a gun or what the heck (can’t remember exactly), a flat tire. MAAAAA can you come get me? And take me home for supplies? And take me back so I can change it?

Saved the day Mom!! Thanks for everything Mom. Love you!

I’m sure not everyone has this Mom convenience due to distance, disagreement, divorce, and on, and on, and on…….but you could be someone’s save the day Mom person!
